TESL Saskatchewan's Vision: "Professional standards-based English language teaching and learning"

We are a professional non-profit organization whose objectives are:
  • to represent and express the professional concerns of those involved in English as a Second Language/Dialect (ESL/D) in Saskatchewan
  • to encourage communication among teachers of ESL/D in the province of Saskatchewan
  • to promote professional development among ESL/D educators in Saskatchewan
  • to participate with other provincial ESL/D associations in professional development at the national level
  • to facilitate and encourage communication with educators of other languages
  • to facilitate the expression of ESL/D learner issues and concerns
  • to encourage and promote multiculturalism and anti-racism, both among our learners and in the larger community
  • to uphold the values and practices in the TESL SK code of ethics
TESL SK provides:
  • Access to a provincial/national network of ESL/D practitioners and administrators
  • Annual provincial conference
  • Professional ACCREDITATION for qualified ESL teachers
  • Access to the Library Collection and ESL/D bibliography
  • TESL SK newsletter two times a year
  • Subscription to TESL Canada Journal
