Auxiliary Instructor(s) Needed at Capilano University for Fall, 2017
The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Department at Capilano University needs part-time auxiliary instructors for our top level EAP IV courses in Grammar, Writing & Listening, and Reading, Vocabulary & Speaking starting on Wednesday, September 06 until Friday, December 15th.
Mondays & Wednesdays 8:30am – 11:30am and Thursdays 8:30am – 10:30am
Mondays 12:30pm – 2:30pm and Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:00pm -4:00pm
The position requires 8 teaching hours plus 3 additional office hours per week. Classes run for 15 weeks.
This is an auxiliary (emergency) hire for the Fall, and not a permanent position.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in the field of Applied Linguistics, TESOL or TESL and 2 years Academic Prep/EAP teaching experience at the post-secondary level in the Lower Mainland is preferred.
