CultureWorks is seeking skilled full-time English for Academic Purposes (EAP) instructors to teach on campus at Saskatchewan Polytechnic – Saskatoon Campus. Our program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to develop their academic English skills to be fully prepared for their academic studies at the post-secondary level. Established in 1998 and focusing on EAP preparation, CultureWorks is a Canadian-owned, private language school based in Canada with locations worldwide.
Term:
Orientation & Training: Week of April 25-29, 2022
Contract term: May 2, 2022 - August 19, 2022 with possibility of renewal
Schedule, dependent upon enrolment:
- Full-time (20 hours/week of instruction)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to Director – North American Programs, you will be responsible to:
- Plan and teach EAP to international students at the intermediate to advanced level
- Follow CultureWorks curriculum (synchronous and asynchronous delivery)
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to follow curriculum guidelines, create lesson plans, grade assignments, and discuss student progress
- Ensure course delivery and accurate grading in the CultureWorks LMS
- Record attendance and generate student reports
- Facilitate meetings with students to discuss progress and provide ongoing feedback
- Cultivate positive relationships with staff, students, and the campus communities

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- TESL certificate recognized by Languages Canada
- 2 years of EAP teaching experience
- Cross-cultural experience with overseas teaching experience preferred
- Online teaching experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
